Northeast Ohio Engagement Session
Amber… friend, match-maker, now photographer ;)
Do you know those two friends you have and you’ve always kind’ve thought… hmm… that would make sense. But I won’t intrude. Just put them in the same room. And then you intently watch to see their facial expressions, their body tells, yanno… all the people watching things us love capturer’s do on the regular. That was Emily and John. Both creative. Both quietly hilarious. Both outdoorsy. Both intense supporters and lovers of their people.
Well, it worked. Putting them in the same room worked. They went on their first date not even a week later and then just never stopped. They started meeting each others people, joining in on the others hobbies (and starting a few themselves). And on a trip to California, at sunset, with the best luck of having strangers capture it for them, John proposed to Emily (with the most gorgeous custom ring with a family heirloom stone in it).
I have never felt the joy of two loved ones coming together like I do for them. Individually, before either knew of the other, they both were one of the first people to support my business. Both booking portrait sessions. Both joyfully supporting me. And now continuing to in this new phase of life. Sometimes, sitting in reflection I am wildly humbled by moments like this. That my craft and my life GET to overlap. I get to bless those I love with my skill. My eye. My perspective. And what a dang honor that is.
Below enjoy portraits of the couple taken at the parks! (CVNP you already know)
